Version 4.1.0 makes “Mobile Payment” a little bit better again: We have fixed a few minor errors in the app and optimized the general performance.
Version 3.6.0 is here and makes "mobile payment" a little better again. From now on you can see the card number of your physical Sparkassen-Card and BW-BankCard plus (debit cards) directly below the respective card and thus distinguish them better from each other. In addition, the update brings the possibility of being informed about certain topics directly via the app via notifications. And of course we fixed minor bugs and optimized the general performance.
Die Version 3.5.2 macht „Mobiles Bezahlen“ wieder etwas besser: Wir haben ein paar kleinere Fehler der App behoben und die allgemeine Performance optimiert.
Die Version 3.5.1 ist da:
- Ab sofort können Sie bei ausgewählten Online-Shops Zahlungen mit giropay* einfach über Ihre digitale Sparkassen-Card (girocard) in der App freigeben.
- Steuern Sie ab vsl. Anfang Dezember über „Card Control“* die Einsatzmöglichkeiten Ihrer Karten, z. B. das Bezahlen im Ausland, flexibel selbst.
- Freuen Sie sich zudem auf den neu gestalteten Homescreen, auf dem die Transaktionshistorie nun auf- und zugeklappt werden kann.

Pay easily, securely and conveniently with your digital wallet.
With the “Mobile Payment” app and your digital cards, you can do this conveniently in stores and also quickly and flexibly online - via giropay* and the digital Sparkassen-Card/BW-BankCard plus (girocard)** in the app. You control the possible uses of your cards yourself – with Card Control*. And with the express loan* you can spontaneously fulfill your wishes through short-term liquidity.
To pay in stores, store the debit cards of one or more savings banks and BW Bank and/or your savings bank credit cards in the “Mobile Payment” app. At the checkout, simply unlock your smartphone using the secure method provided, hold it close to the card reader and wait for the visual and acoustic confirmation - done. This works wherever contactless payments and your card are supported.
You can also pay online at participating institutions with giropay and the digital Sparkassen-Card or BW-BankCard plus (girocard). When paying in the online shop, select giropay and the digital girocard in the next step. Then approve the payment using your digital Sparkasse card or BW-BankCard plus stored in the “Mobile Payment” app.
For additional security and control, you can use Card Control at participating institutions to independently activate or deactivate the possible uses of your haptic and digital cards. Easily control your payments in stores, online and abroad as well as withdrawing cash from ATMs yourself.
In addition to paying with a digital card, you can take out a free express loan for between 500 and 3,000 euros directly in the “Mobile Payment” app - and fulfill your wish directly in the store. You will receive the amount in your account within a few minutes and pay it back in full within 30 days or replace it with an installment loan. You will only see the express loan in the app if your institution is participating.
FUNCTIONS AND BENEFITS
• Fast payments in store and online with authentication of the payment using the secure unlocking method stored in the smartphone
• Secure payments with the same high security standards as contactless card payments, app PIN and other measures
• Identical credit limits and card limits as for physical cards
• Overview of the last 50 transactions of all stored digital cards
• Pay in stores even without an internet connection
• Use in both light and dark mode – depending on your needs and situation
REQUIREMENTS FOR DIGITAL CARDS
• You are at least 13 years old
• You have a private checking account activated for online banking at a participating German savings bank or BW Bank
• You use one of the supported TAN procedures: chipTAN (incl. chip-TAN-QR), pushTAN (incl .pushTAN 2.0)
• You have a valid debit card with girocard from your savings bank(s) or BW bank and/or a savings bank credit card
• Android operating system from version 6.0, NFC interface
